A telephone dolly is a basically a portable phone that is used in jails or prisons. Guards find it easier to roll the phone up to the door of the jail cell for the prisoner to use. The phone cords are designed so the inmate may not harm him or her self with it. Telephone Dolly's are shipped all over the U.S.

When the phone dolly is plugged in the switch boxes are what turns them on and off. The box has a series of switches, each switch is tied to one phone. This makes it easier for someone to turn the phone off with out unplugging it.
